I went on a 9 mile hike and the last two hours I got caught hiking in the dark. This headlamp made all the difference. Great range of light and the strap adjusted perfectly to fit and STAY on my head. I was skeptical about getting the rechargeable headlamp but I had no problems what so ever with the battery life. Very much worth the buy.

Absolutely Incredible Light
I LOVE this light. Very bright with flashing mode. The on/off switch works very easy with one hand. Tremendous that it rechargeable via USB and the charge lasts quite a long time for hours of dependable use. Great to not to have to buy and carry extra batteries along. Best light I have ever purchased and just bought another to keep in my car.

Holy cow! Well designed, bright, long burning. Headband can be replaced, substantial plastic housing, charge ports are sealed to water, on switch resists accidental turning on when packed, but operates easily on you head. Eqivalent Pietzl light costs more for the lamp, plus $30 for a rechargeable batery insert.
This lamp beats my expensive one hands down. I use for sailing, boating, and camping.

Only used it a few nights, but I really like it so far.
Pros: Very bright main light. Red light is very bright too. Intuitive controls. Headband is comfortable, adjustable and it holds it's position. Under $20 is a really good value for a rechargeable headlamp of this quality. Comes with two charging cables.
Cons: concerned about how long the cover for the charging port will last. Also, a bit fiddle to pop it open. Micro-USB is starting to become dated. Charging cables are a bit short.
Unknown: durability
Conclusion: Despite the minor quibbles, this looks to be a great value for a rechargeable headlamp.

Best deal on the market
I've been through countless clip on and head band headlamps and this one blows them all out of the water. Its bright, charges quickly, holds a charge a long time and the headband isnt constantly coming off. I've used it every day for the last year and have never had a problem. I've used lights that cost twice or three times as much and they're garbage compared to this light.

I am delighted with this light. The beam is strong enough for bicycling or running at night, yet wide enough for reading in bed. I love the fact that it is rechargeable and one can't argue with the price point.
My only gripe is the strobe function. I wish headlamp designers would dump this feature. How many times out a a couple of million uses does anyone use this feature? I would guess probably not at all. Dump it! It's an annoyance!
Would I recommend this headlamp to a friend? In a New York instant!

Good headlamp, dim red light
I bought the headlamp in the hopes that its red light would be an improvement on my current headlamp, and although it's a tad bit brighter, it definitely isn't ideal for some of the work I do where I need to use red light. Also, don't trust the 40 hours of light on a single charge, even the manual included with the headlamp contradicts that - the best that it says you get is 30 hours with the red light.

I really like the MX200 headlamp. The light is bright, also has a red light, and - best of all - it's USB rechargeable, so I can charge it up in the car en route to new adventures. Oh, and it's bright pink! Love it.
